|
What are the general guidelines for the MechWarrior 4 Ratings?
See MechWarrior 4 Ratings Guidelines for general rules on your maximum points, minimum points, how the ratings system works, and more. How is my MechWarrior 4 rating calculated? See How MechWarrior 4 Player Ratings are Calculated for an equation and variable explanation. How are the scores for the other individual categories such as accuracy, damage, and fatalities calculated? See How MechWarrior 4 Stats are Calculated for a list of how these scores are calculated. What do the abbreviations on the ZoneStats page mean? See the ZoneStats MechWarrior 4 Abbreviated Glossary for an explanation of terms. How do I get my MechWarrior 4 stats posted? There are two steps to making sure that your stats get posted to ZoneStats. Step 1: Make sure that you have a Player Name and ZoneStats Password.
If you are starting your own server:
You will not be ranked or rated until you've played five rated MechWarrior 4 games for a total of 60 minutes. What is a UID number and how will I know what my UID number is? And what happens when I forget my UID number? How can I find it again? Each ZoneStat name will be assigned an UID (unique identifier number). It's important to remember your UID number and Zone Stats name, as knowing your UID number will help you look up your stats easily. After you've completed 5 rated MechWarrior 4 games for a total of 60 minutes or more, a UID number will be associated with your Player Name. You will get a UID after you've played a single game. Remember, you will not be rated/ranked until after playing five rated games for a total of 60 minutes. To find your UID number, go to the Zone Stats page, enter your Player Name in the menu bar on the top of the page, and click Search. If more then one player shares the same name, you will be prompted to enter your password. Once you enter your password, your individual scores will appear and your UID number will be posted next to your name. Or, after you have completed a game, there will be a button on the bottom of the scoreboard labeled ?View ZoneStats' and you will be taken to your personal stats page with your UID posted next to your name. What is a Zone Stats password? How do I get one? Your Zone Stats password is different from your Zone sign in password. You enter your Zone Stats password at the start of the MechWarrior 4 game setup. This password ensures that no other player's stats are added to your stats. I have forgotten my Zone Stats password. How do I find it? Your Zone Stats password is different from your Zone sign-in password. Your Zone Stats password lets you access your individual stats. If you've forgotten your Zone Stats password, go back to the MechWarrior 4 Game Options window, and the password you've previously entered should still be displayed. If the password is not displayed, then you'll need to re-create a Player Name (it can still be your previous name) and create a new password. How do I keep my stats separate and unique from other players? Everyone can look up everyone else's stats, except they cannot modify your stats without your password. And the only way to modify your stats is to play MechWarrior 4. How often are my stats updated? As soon as you've completed a rated game, your scores will be posted on Zone Stats. Remember, to be RANKED, you need to have completed 5 rated games for a total of 60 minutes or more. Weekly ratings are cleared every Sunday at 0:00 GMT (Saturday at 4:00 P.M. PST), which means all players will start back on a clean slate. Quarterly rankings are cleared at the end of each calendar quarter (Q1: January -- March, Q2: April -- June, Q3: July -- September, Q4: October -- December) How do I search for stats on a specific server? On the Zone Stats page, click Servers on the top of the menu bar. Select Server in the drop down box next to the Search button. Enter in the Server name and click Search. |
