How MechWarrior 4 Stats are Calculated

ZoneStats displays a variety of scores sorted in multiple categories. Here is a list of the equations used to calculate scores such as Destruction, Attrition, and Efficiency. In the case where the word NONE is displayed, this means that ZoneStats had no information about the MechWarrior 4 game score.

Destruction/Attrition Scoring
Category     Explanation  
Destruction     Equation: (Kills - Suicides)  
Attrition     Equation: 500 + 500 * Kills +Tonnage+Bonus + 50 * Self_Destroyed_Components + Self_Damage

Where Tonnage_Bonus = (target_tonnage = my_tonnage) * 5
Tonnage Bonus cannot be negative and is given on a per kill basis.  
Kills     Total kills by a player  
Deaths     Total deaths (not suicides) by a player  
Suicides     Total number of times a player kills himself  
Efficiency     Equation: Kills/ (Kills + deaths + suicides)  
SPH (Score Per Hour)     Equation: Score/ Hours_in_game  
Average TTL (Time to Live)     Equation: Seconds_in_game/ (Deaths + suicides +1)  
Time     Minutes_in_game  
Component Damage     Represents the components that were destroyed during the game.
Equation: Given/(Received + Self-Inflicted)

Where Given is the number of enemy components the player destroyed, Received is the number of times a player's components were destroyed by his enemies, and Self-Inflicted is the number of components destroyed by self-infliction.
 
Damage (taken by ?Mechs during a game)     Equation: Given/(Received + Self-Inflicted)

Where Given is the damage a player to his opponent, and Received is the damage inflicted by a player to an opponent.
 
 
Player/Opponent Comparison Chart
This table lets you know how you did in head-to-head competition with another player's game. The scoring information is separated into two categories: opponent information and head-to-head. In the case, where N/A is posted, this means it was either a computer player or the opponent was not participating in the cumulative stats tracking.

Category     Description  
Opponent     Opponent's Name  
UID     The opponent's UID  
Rating     Opponent's rating prior to the start of the game  
SPH     Opponent's score per hour (score/hours_in_game). Note: this is the individual player's SPH compared with everyone in the game  
 
Head-to-Head

This is the score per hour for the current player in the game. This is the value that determines whether or not you gained or lost rating points vs. each opponent.

My Score     The score that you earned when directly interacting with this opponent  
Opponent's Score     The score that your opponent earned when directly interacting with you  
Kills     Number of times that you killed this opponent  
Deaths     Number of times that this opponent killed you  
Component Damage (Given)     Number of this opponent's components that you destroyed  
Component Damage (Received)     Number of your component's destroyed by this opponent  
Damage Given     Amount of damage you inflicted on this opponent  
Damage Received     Amount of damage this opponent inflicted on you  
Rating Change     The amount that your rating changed due to interaction with this opponent
