Chess, like many great works of art, is a model of simplicity and perfection. With 16 pieces representing a royal court, it lets you explore a limitless world of machination within only 64 small squares. It's no wonder director Ingmar Bergman chose Chess as the game played between his knight and Death itself -- canasta just wouldn't have carried the same weight. Don't worry, the stakes aren't as high here on the Zone.
