How do ratings work?
Competition is based on timed seasons, each lasting about two to three months, with a one to two-week break between seasons. There are five event types; Supercross, Stunt, National, Baja, and Enduro. Players will be rated separately in each event type, meaning you can be #10 in Supercross, #8 in Enduro, and #3 in Baja. If your score is among the top 100, your name and rating will be listed on the Ratings page. In addition, the number plate on your in-game bike will reflect your standing in the top 100 spots. How often are bike plates updated? You will notice a time lag between your ratings on the web pages and your bike's plate within the game. The web page will have the most current data. Bike plate numbers, however, will be updated once per day. So, if you've moved up from 10th place to 5th place, the web page will show you in the #5 spot, while your bike's plate might still read #10. Everyone's bike plate will be updated at the same time every day. How long do I hold my ratings? Ratings are constantly in flux as racers vie for better positions. However, at the end of each season, everyone's ratings will be cleared and scoring will start over at the opening of the next season. At the end of each season, there will be a Hall of Fame set up for each event where players can see their name in lights. Top 100 winners will also receive an award icon on their ZoneFriends profile. How do I view my ratings? From the main Motocross Madness 2 game rooms page, click on Ratings in the left-hand menu. The ratings pages are broken down by event types, and only one event's ratings will be visible at a time. To view ratings for other event types, scroll down to the Search Player Ratings section and choose an event in the drop-down menu. How many chances do I get to improve my ratings? You can race as many times as you'd like during each season. The better your score, the better your rating. Explain Best Race Times. Best Race Times shows history's top ten best times for each track in each event. You can access Best Race Times from the left-hand menu on the Motocross Madness 2 game rooms page. The chart shows the player's name, finish time, and bike type. Can I be rated on all tracks? All tracks are individually rated except for five: Bear Mountain; Morenci Mine; Munchberry Farms; Starlight Park; and Zihuatanejo. These five tracks have been bundled into a collective rating. You can access each of these tracks individually, but your scores will be counted as though you were racing one track, known as Enduro Stunt Tracks. Are there any limits to the bike types I can race in rated rooms? Bikes in the 500cc-class series and above are unavailable in rated rooms. You can race any bike in classes below 500cc. |
