One of the other cool features of this game is that it gives you the ability to glance to the left or right and fire with the arm on that side. To do this while in the cockpit either press your joystick hat switch left or right or press the keypad 4 for left and the keypad 6 for right. You will notice the arm of the 'Mech following the aiming reticule in this glance view. Using the glance in conjunction with the torso twist feature gives you a bigger attack radius around your 'Mech, making you less susceptible to attacks on your rear.
