Using Tags
Use the Distance, Name, and Camp tags to identify other planes and make them more visible at a distance. Use all of the tags at once for maximum effect - the plane is slightly to the left of the tag, so aim in that direction.
Press CTRL 5 to tag all other planes with the distance between you and them, in camp colors. (Take a look at your plane in the plane listings to find out the range of its guns, and don't waste the ammo when you're out of range. Your guns may overheat and be useless until they cool down.)
Press ALT 5 to tag them with their pilots' IDs, color-coded by camp. You'll know the Aces from the pigeons at a glance. CTRL SHIFT F5 adds rank tags.
Press CTRL ALT F5 to add camp tags. This makes distant planes much more visible: it's like pasting a target right next to them. The actual plane is to the left of the tag.
